About the presentation: 

This presentation will discuss considerations in application of treatment plan objectives and behavior plans across multiple settings and team members. We will identify strategies to assist in overcoming common barriers when providing services in the home and community settings and review of research regarding training and the importance of feedback. The presentation will include a discussion of competing contingencies and their potential impact on sustained progress.

About the presenter:
Angela Broff first moved from Minnesota to Hawaii in August of 2001. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Windward Synergy Center. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), licensed in the state of Hawai’i. Angela has worked with children, adolescents, families and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, and various mental health diagnoses for over 19 years. Her experience has been across various settings including private homes, group homes, hospitals, schools and various community settings. She has worked extensively in conducting functional behavioral assessments and creating effective behavior support plans. She believes in plans that are tailored to individual needs and strives to work collaboratively with all members of the treatment team to bring positive and meaningful changes to behavior. Angela is also an Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) practitioner and eager to find more ways to help systems make changes in their routines or procedures. Some of her additional areas of interest include; making healthy choices, sustainability projects, social skills development and parent support/training. Ms. Broff strives to assist treatment teams and organizations to make gains in identified goal areas by focusing on reinforcing leadership behavior and identifying and reducing any potential barriers to success and growth. Ms. Broff is currently applying these principles to support and mentor colleagues both in her daily workplace as well as her local community.
